Research for final idea: 'I Do?'

I decided to choose idea 5 as my final idea because i really liked the idea of working within the genre of comedy and i think that i will have lots to explore.

Safety catch is a radio play shown of radio 4. After listening to it i decided to use this as part of my research because they humour in it between the man and woman was comical and also it contained a 'problem' within the story line which is something i want to do.

Outnumbered is a fantastic sitcom to look at because theres such classic humour between the whole family. They also tend to have little problems arise usually by the children which then causes humourous conflict between the parents.

This programme shows a man and woman, the man is having problems and his girlfriend is moaning at him which creates humour between them.

The link above is to a profile about jack and vera duckworth in coronation street. Over the many years they had been on coronation street they offered such a good relationship between the two. They have been through ups and downs but still show a great relationship. I love the way that Jack is always getting into trouble and Vera the strong woman she is always gives him a smack and tells him off.

This website i found enabled me to get a understanding on the differences between men and woman. The main thing that stood out to me was the different way men and woman react to things, woman are more worried in sitations whereas men can stay more calm.
